Logo design and branding for public transit agency
This preliminary branding for a new public transit system in the Sedona region was used during the planning stages to represent a possible future transit agency. Funding was ultimately secured, and a new transit system will be launched in 2022. I subsequently designed the actual branding that will be unveiled next year (coming to my portfolio soon).
This preliminary brand was designed to accomplish several objectives:
• Offer immediate and constant communication that transit service is available. This is particularly important for a transient target market such as tourists.
• Be consistent in character with the “Destination Sedona Arizona” branding used by the Chamber and Visitor Bureau to market Sedona nationally.
• Convey an image consistent with the character of the service area and attractive to the target population.
• Be simple, distinct and immediately recognizable.
