Bluegrass RIDE
Rebrand – logo, identity
Georgetown, KY
Working in partnership with Selena Barlow of Transit Marketing, LLC, and Elea Carey of Transit Happy, we rebranded the former Blue Grass Community Action Partnership Transit to Bluegrass RIDE. The rebrand has raised the public profile of the agency and made local residents aware that this is a transit system for everyone, not just elderly or persons with disabilities.
A new logo and complete identity system was designed for Bluegrass RIDE and the individual communities it will serve. The new brand was first rolled out in Georgetown, Kentucky with new vehicle graphics, bus stop signs, and a new system map/rider guide.
In the first few months of operation as Bluegrass RIDE, monthly ridership in Georgetown has already increased more than 400%.
Service in Danville, KY is rolling out soon, with Nicholasville, KY coming after that, as well as intercity regional service connecting four communities with the city of Lexington, KY.
